Demi Garcia-Roman, LCMHCA
Demi Garcia-Roman is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina who works with children (ages 4+), adolescents, and adults. She brings a strong foundation in social work and community-based nonprofit work, along with a deep respect for each client’s story, cultural background, and lived experience. Raised in a military family, Demi understands the emotional impact of transition, uncertainty, and resilience. This perspective informs her thoughtful, grounded approach to therapy and her commitment to creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood.

Demi’s work is rooted in person-centered and child-centered approaches, with influence from Gestalt therapy and a focus on the here and now. She believes therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. In sessions, Demi helps clients explore patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop practical tools for regulation, communication, and growth—moving at a pace that feels both supportive and intentional. For clients who desire it, Demi is able to integrate faith from a Christian perspective into the therapeutic process, always honoring individual values and goals. Her approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in respect, offering clients a space to process challenges, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

At The Loft Therapy Center, Demi is committed to providing care that feels attuned, relational, and empowering. Whether navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or relational concerns, she walks alongside clients with care, curiosity, and encouragement.
