Nicole Pugliese, LCMHCA

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina who works with individuals of all ages, as well as parents and caregivers. Rooted in person‑centered care, my work is guided by a strengths‑based approach that honors each person’s unique values, cultural background, and lived experience. I hold the belief that no one is broken; every individual has the capacity to heal and grow through the therapeutic process. Everyone has a story, and each story deserves a safe space to be expressed authentically. It’s easy to forget that we hold the pen and can revise our story anytime, and part of my work is helping you reclaim authorship of yours.

While therapy should always be a place where you feel seen and heard, this is not always the case for many invisible or underrepresented populations. Neurodivergent, chronically ill, and disabled individuals (and those who support them) deserve devoted time in which their experiences are understood and affirmed. I am passionate about helping these clients cultivate validation so they can advocate for themselves in a world that often misunderstands or overlooks their reality.

As a chronically ill and neurodivergent person myself, I understand how life can feel like a never-ending juggling act. Sessions with me are designed to be a balanced, restorative space where you can reconnect with yourself and, in turn, with others. Through a comprehensive holistic lens, I welcome all parts of you: mind, body, and spirit. I integrate talk therapy, somatic approaches, and existential themes to support a sense of cohesion, meaning, and wholeness in your life. In a world that feels overwhelmingly disconnected despite being more connected than ever, having this sacred space to make sense of it all is key. In our work together, I strive to help you find peace in the midst of the chaos and noise.
