Christine Wheeler, LCSW - Intern
I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern with a passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges and transitions. Bringing 59 years of life experience into my work, I offer a grounded, compassionate, and relatable presence for those seeking growth, healing, and clarity.
My approach to counseling is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based practices. I believe that while challenges are a natural part of life, each person already possesses the resilience and inner resources needed to create meaningful change. My role is to help clients recognize those strengths, develop practical tools, and build confidence in navigating their unique journeys.
I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals, including tweens, teens, and adults, and have a special interest in supporting those experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also have a heart for working with couples, foster families and youth, senior citizens, business professionals, and women seeking to rediscover purpose and direction in their lives.
Personally, I am proud to be a wife of 39 years, a mom of two, a grandmother to three and a retired corporate executive.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged to move forward with intention and hope.
